Kind of a weird episode. The premise of having Batman become a vampire and use his various detective skills to hunt down his teammates is an interesting one, but this felt pretty scattershot. It was clearly influenced by Coppola's Dracula film, a film which I found to be a pretty incoherent mess, so the homages there didn't help. I'm also not a big fan of the dynamic among the new Justice League -- it just feels like a corny sitcom set up, even where I enjoy the individual members, so more time spent with that group wasn't great for me. That said, it was an impressively animated episode, that gave the folks behind the scenes a chance to flex their cinematography and design muscles. It was far and away the best part of the episode. But the story and pacing were off, and the "it was all a dream" ending was pretty cheesy. All-in-all, not the best outing.

Oh, but the teaser featuring Jungle Batman was silly enough to work, even (or because of) the adventures of Bat-Ape.
