This episode does a good job at showing that soldiers aren't invincible war breaks through down leaving them vulnerable Pixis has an epic speech which convinces all the soldiers to stay and fight the animation in this episode is at the best it's been so far especially when Eren transforms after using his gear to fly in the city but did Eren lose control of his titan I'm really nervous about Mikasa 8/10.
Time to seal that entrance.... EREN???!!!
This arc (the standoff till this episode, then the following Trial arc where he's held prisoner etc (around now till episode 15) just kind of make me roll my eyes and are this show at its weakest. This is where this season starts to lose its steam and really weakens, and treads far too much water. Losing all the glorious momentum it had building up to it. When I was watching this show weekly its around these episodes I started to get annoyed.... Its not bad, but its pales in comparison to the highest peaks we were at just a few episodes ago.
Also at this point the OP+ED+Recap take up a good ~7 minutes each episode which really trim down the flow of this season, especially when they're only 24min an ep
The gray hair chick at the end..... wtf? Once again just rolled my eyes the entire time. Erin is on the cusp of achieving something mankind has never seen before and here she is there giving him grief that people will die (like its never happened before).... Just weird. She was really in no position to lecture him and it was just preachy and weird.... It just felt like another thing to pad the run time. She invented womansplaining in this very moment

Some monologues and dialogues are so frustrating in this show. I often wish that I could strangle the character (or the writer) and make them shut up. Example in this episode: The "motivational" speech Eren receives at the end.
