An OK, but fairly pedestrian Archer episode, which strangely, seemed to highlight even more dysfunction than normally occurs at IIA. With Cheryl entirely MIA, Lana just wanting to "get this over with and go home", Cyril, showing why he should never be put "in charge", Krieger relegated to a lacky role, and Archer just sloppily giving himself over to his alcohol issues to the point of pretty much being ineffective. Pam at least made a valiant attempt, but then, suddenly turned maudlin and introspective at the end, before clichédly asking her adversary for another piece of chocolate. (and, are they drawing her a little more "chunkier" than usual?)

Granted, they still accomplished their mission in spite of themselves, but, there was no sparkle, twinkle in the eye, or "rimshot" moment at the end. It was kind of just over.

Hopefully they can pull themselves out of their seeming funk in the next few episodes.

Hahaha, "Battle of Grauholz," deep cut...count on Archer to interrupt my viewing pleasure with an historic reference I have to read three pages to understand!
Well, at least now I possess a cursory understanding of the Swiss "canton-ese" historic framework.
