Lunch bag let down this season

to be honest .... best since asylum

Hm. I didn't love this season, but I also didn't really hate it. I just felt like the main focus was killing and shocking, and the storyline was a bit all over the place. I wasn't a fan of the whole polk people thing. I thought that the last episode was just ... irrelevant, except for the Lee storyline (and LANA WINTERS!!!). I don't know, I was a bit disappointed with the whole season overall. I really loved the first few episodes, but then it was just downhill from there.

Btw, what happened to The Witch of the Woods aka Lady Gaga? She literally just disappeared.

Started off great but eventually becoming one of the most confusing and time-waster season of AHS.

I actually think this season was one of the best when it comes to being crazy scary. A lot of jump scares and where other seasons started to get less scary with each episode because backstory got clear, this one kept me on edge.
I love how the season took a different turn in the middle and I love the whole characters playing characters. HOWEVER, I do think the last two episodes were rather weak and could've been better. They felt rushed.

I love AHS but this season is just not clicking with me.
First 5 episodes were kind of interesting but after that it's been one long ass terrible slasher movie.

This season had to be one of the worst things I have ever put myself through. Just a lot of aimless running around and screaming. I'm a loyal fan of the show and that's the only reason I stuck it out to the last episode but... Omg, this was really bad.

This season could have seriously been great, I thought episodes 1 & 2 were fantastic and was curious to see what they bought to the show. Unfortunately as time went on it just became more disappointing. It wasn't unbearable to watch or anything like that but never really connected with any of the characters and hoped for more, maybe next year.

This has been BAD! This one put the other seasons to shame!

Wow, I don't know why I suffered through this, but this has been the worst. It has not been scary once, not even a little. It is painful to see how desperately they try repeat the successful of the great first season. This was even worse than the last season, which I honestly couldn't even finish.

Hands down the worst season of all the shows I've seen this year. I can't believe I watched the whole thing... What was driving me? I don't know. That's the only scary thing about this.

As a fan of AHS, I must admit that I really hated this season.

I love American Horror Story ever since season 1. However, I have to say season 6 has been incredibly disappointing. Although I wasn't thrilled with the whole reality show/found footage theme, it started out pretty strong and was interesting. There were some good scares here and there and the cast was great as always. The problem is the story just seemed to dwindle towards the end. The season finale felt sloppy and rushed and just wasn't that great.

Thought this was kind of terrible. Sarah Paulson was the most annoying, followed by Kathy Bates, and then Cuba Gooding Jr.. They have all shined in other roles, but were handed a steaming pile of script. I took a break from this show after Hotel, and just revisited the series. This season makes me not want to watch the rest. I want to say that at least 6 episodes were unnecessary. I’m sure it would have been less annoying if it were only 4-6 episodes, but I’m not positive it would have made a difference quality wise.

After being stale for a few years American Horror Story puts aside the flashy glamour of seasons like "Hotel" and finally attempts at doing something different with "Roanoke". This time the series plays with different television program formats and in particular documentaries and reality shows. While previous seasons were a bit too slow-paced, "Roanoke" tends to burn out too quickly. Most of the mystery builds up during the first episodes, and most answers have been already given by the end of the third episode. Things spice up again when the reality show portion begins with a shift in style and some interesting dynamics between groups of characters. Unfortunately, the mystery is unfolded instantly and it all becomes a huge mess a bit too early. We are then left with episodes of people running around screaming or getting dismembered. All closed by an unnecessary and incredibly forced season finale.
Again AHS proves itself to be good in style but messy and rushed in the writing and execution. Still, this is surely the most enjoyable season since Asylum.

For me...This is the worst series so far. 1-6. From the 1st episode i just couldnt get into it.

Although this season is different and might I call it bad it still has all the elements of being a part of the American Horror Story universe. I liked it because apart from previous season this has some serious gore in it. For example intestines being ripped apart of someone alive. (Which I love) But apart of the gore being prefect the story didn't seem as good. A lot of running around and screaming from characters. The first 5 episodes are fine apart from the commentary which sometimes can be a bit annoying.

The rest 5 episodes just doesn't make any sense. For example Shelby, Matt and Lee going back into the house even though they have experienced all the shit that went down in My Roanoke Nightmare .

But still this season is better than Coven which took me sooo long to go through but that was just another level of disappointment

This season was enjoyable, until halfway when it just becomes meh. There's a lot more horror during this season compared to the previous seasons, so there's that. The season finale is the worst episode of the entire show so far.

too much of that blair witch feel about this season. still a lot of good horror... 7/10
