Like it!!! Really like watching American Crime. Like how cast has different role & look in each season.
i still don't get the rating, it is one of the best series running. no cheap tricks, no "unexpected but seen a million times" turns and twists. each episode is just another brick in the wall for all the characters. and they are not black or white, they are grey. like everyone in real life. when they move to a darker or lighter shade of grey it is just life as it is. highly recommendable!!!
My score: 7/10.
what can 1 say about this one ?! well i'm hooked great programming gritty and there is integrity that runs through this 1 great work.
thumbs up on this one !
Good show must watch culture drama show
Just finished season 1, at times it was good however all too often the story and characters just aren't believable. We were spite watching and asking ourselves is it over yet for the final 3 or 4 episodes. Although each season is a new story I doubt we will try season 2 as season 1 was a disappointment right down to the lackluster conclusion.
American Crime is an intense ABC tv series that aims to portrait, as the name states, crimes in the USA.
The first season follows the aftermath of a brutally attacked young couple in Modesto, California. It follows an unusual perspective, focusing on the lives of the parents and attacker of the couple instead of focusing mainly on the couple itself. Besides the emotional impact, American Crime addresses everyday problems like race and discrimination.
Not everyone will enjoy its different approach but it’s definitely a fresh and well done tv series. And I feel it doesn’t have enough recognition or even enough people watching it, I’m not quite sure why. It has everything to be a big hit: an excellent cast performing brilliantly, a rich script, plot twists and character development. Its slow pace might not be for everyone, but it’s worth it because there is such an evolution through out the season. It’s a true portrait of the real life, with real people and real problems.
Season two follows a different story with almost the same cast. Tackling also difficult subjects like race, sexuality, rape and power, it doesn’t lose any of its good qualities from the previous season. It still has strong performances and a insightful and well written script.
I can't wait for the third season.

There's some undeniable sense of truth in this show, those events and those characters, that is impossible to not relate to.
