Yosh! Everyone and their mom's favourite live action anime is back! I could have used a recap, as I can't quite recall where they left things off, and I can't remember a few characters... But, anyway, the show gives us no time to reminisce and puts us right back into action! Solid, adrenaline pumping season premiere, but no crazy levels of excitement nor emotionally twisted as the first season... Yet. I'm looking forward to see what will they do with this one!
LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
As @kinky opined, lacking even a cursory recap, and dropping us right back into the mix where we left off may have not been the most consumer friendly move, but, IMO, was more than made up for with the rapidity in which the SHTF and the bodies started dropping. Solid second season premier, and the cliff hanger ending makes you want to jump right into the next episode. Yes, the King of Spades was reaching ridiculous T1000 levels of survivability, but then, this is a live action ANIME, so, some suspension of disbelief is not only expected, but required.
Like others, I don't remember where we left off. it's not the most amazing start to the season but I have high hopes that it'll pick up.
Almost died of laminess after the action stopped. The new games’ thing seems interesting though.

Dude is the King of Clubs and kills people precisely from hundreds of meters away and then fails to kill anyone while chasing them in a car while demolishing whole cars that are between the main casts car and himself. And of course the main cast's car survives a whole frontal crash at 70+ km/h with a perfect landing on the hood.. With 2 scratches on Ann and nothing else. :neutral_face: I remember season 1 being smarter than this even though it's been a while since I watched it, hope this season is not a complete fail. I understand that the main cast has to survive somehow but that was just dumb and could have been delivered in a tiny bit more realistic and enjoyable way.
