Oooohh! So, it seems the first episode was merely an appetiser. This one cranked the tension and action up to 11! Hot damn! More players means more fun! My heart was pumping with adrenaline, as if I was there with them, playing the game, as well! This episode felt like it was 5 minutes long. That's how good it was!

I just found it odd that Choto got that lucky, it didn't make much sense, something is surely off about it... But, hey, can't say that I don't envy you, man! ;)

I truly hope this was a real taste of what's to come, because I had an absolute blast watching this episode!

Not bad, not bad at all

Always finding it somewhat funny when we insert Christianity into a Japanese show. Since it's just about 1% or so of the population who actually consider themselves Christian :joy: Yet here we are, but funnier even that it's a Mary-cult, so I guess he's actually just praying to Ameterasu ahaha.

Either way. Adrenaline-pushing episode! I distrusted the person in white from the start though, something about the focus on how he charges his player and just watches everyone, as if he knew what was happening and didn't actually partake in the game. Aka, like the maker of it.

Had a big wtf-moment though when Arisu opens the door the the "safe zone" but doesn't call out to anyone, although he's made it so clear to keep communicating throughout the game before. Now with barely 3 minutes left, he decides to walk into it silently without giving anyone the chance to make it themselves? Uhhh...

Well that's the only thing I didn't like about it. The rest of obscure meanings hopefully will be discovered at some point. And a lady with AC-skills... helloooo.

I thought they would have gotten out of the alternate reality between games, Gantz like, but no, they have to live there. That's interesting.

A more interesting game, with more people and antagonists. It's a good concept and rythmn if we keep one episode = some story + one game.

There was a focus on the yakuza's bracelet, so there should be some meaning, there should have been a team, but didn't really act like one in the end.

The fact that the horse is a player too is a pretty classic twist for this kind of scenario, however it did not fit at all. Players that die if they lose behave like the others. They would have been more frantic, more efficient. They would have run to catch the other players, not walked all slowly like an 80's horror flick villain.

Clearly Shibuki can't be trusted. We also pretty surely met a future ally (well, her appearance at end of episode one was a giveaway) and a future antagonist (huge Battle Royale villain vibes).

Ok this episode has a much better game. We see more players. Some of them willl probably end up as friends or foes in the future. I liked the fight against the first hunter. But overall so far its not much better than lets say the average anime shows 'High Rise Invasion' or 'Btooom'.

Whats funny to me is how often in these kind of shows the main protagonist, who did nothing than being home and playing video games for years, suddenly has the fitness of a triathlon athlete after thrown in such a situation.

The whole sex scene between Chouta and Shibuki was more than abit awkward..

Also I really don't like how often asian shows rely on flashbacks and characters talking to themselfs to explain their motives and actions. I'm a big fan of asian cinema and tv, specially korean and japanese. But while the movies take us viewers seriously the shows often do not and be like we are all plain stupid.

this was the mandatory sex episode wasn't it? brought nothing to the plot or the show in general. Also why lie about where you were when you got 'sucked into the game', just say you were in the shower you got out and everyone was gone which is literally what it was. so dumb really I just can't

the scene where arisu and the climber lady both pushed the buttons at the last minute was so coooool :exploding_head::exploding_head::exploding_head:

i dislike shibuki tho. i find her suspicious; felt like she was manipulating chota into not trusting his friends or smth.

the man in white hoodie! i thought he would be the tagger bc he also seemed suspicious before the game commenced xd

well in a game like this, you can't really trust anyone but yourself.
