Couldn't we get some depth to the assassin's character? He's so unbearably flat, and we don't even know what happened to him at the end of the story. It's implied that he went down with the burning plane, and perhaps died in the explosion Caitlin hears over the radio, but forgive me if I remain unconvinced that that truly represents closure. People do miraculously survive air accidents… plus he might have had a parachute. And we still don't know why he wanted to kill the industrialist.
