The action sequences in this show are really bad. I don't mean "bad by modern standards", I mean there were other '80s action shows and movies that executed a lot better on what was supposed to be a core draw of the genre.
However, the sometimes jarring and/or unexplainable plot twists are very much expected from an '80s action series, so I can excuse those…mostly. I'm not a fan, but I can accept that it comes with the period.
