I like that people who served in the military aren't portrayed as these unstoppable killing machines like The Expendables in this show or insignificant and not skilled enough to outsmart the good guys simply because they're the bad guys. They're portrayed appropriately. But they're still dangerous, smart, and methodical, for good reason. That was proven when Nick chased after that guy.
