If you're going to tape episodes in batches, don't have guests reference current events. I was taken out of the episode by the guest talking about people currently guessing she was one of the contestants on The Masked Singer, but in the season that ended almost two months ago. If you're going to be timeless, then don't reference timebound things; if you're going to be timely, then you need to air the episode soon after it's taped. (That said, WMcL-C was a great guest, but the timing of its airing really hurt my enjoyment.)
