I too, thoroughly enjoyed this episode. However I was disappointed when I had seen Chim, (as a paramedic) do something stupid like removing a foreign object from being impaled, instead of waiting until he was rescued and it was cut, so he would not bleed out. I guess if they did that, they wouldn't have had the additional tense scene where Chim falls out of the ambulance and hanging.
I wonder if that Buck will eventually have the child as his own. Like something happens to the mom and dad and Buck steps in to care for the child since he's the actual father. Anything is possible on this show.

Oh this was a bit intense. Is everyone alright? Is he gonna make it? Is she going to to subdue to the injury? Are they going to find him? Is this a 2 part episode?
At least we find out quickly that buck can step up in leadership when needed

I really dug this episode. We start to see Buck step into some shoes he's been loathe to fill, and hopefully we'll see more of this in the future. Other than that, this episode doesn't bring much new to the table, it just executes what it does best: thrilling first responder action.
