What a fantastic episode. I don't normally enjoy episodes that revolve around one character but this one was great.
This series has some good action and comedy, but this the kind of drama makes for a truely great episode.
What an amazing episode- I cried like a baby:sob:
All things considered, it is very sad that, in the end, more lives should be destroyed. One teenager mistake took the life of one man, and shattered the life of his fiancée, mother, and friends. If he was arrested at the scene, it could be said that we couldn't be sure of his future actions; he could, after all, continue to take more lives. But he wasn't. He deeply regretted it for the next 30 years. He tried to make a difference. Just like Bobby. He took care of countless children. Countless more than he would have taken care of if he had been arrested. Now, 30 years later, his life is destroyed. But similarly to Emmett, not just his. It is a system that should, above all, provide for resocialization, but in fact favors revenge. And that, on behalf of a given number of lives destroyed decades ago, acts for more countless other lives to be destroyed decades later...
One of the best episodes of 9-1-1 so far!
Those final minutes... and that parallel between each time. Chills, literally chills!
wao... amazing. What an episode.
What a piece of shit!!! The worst episode of a show that is going down verte fast.
Using Andra Day’s “rise up” was definitely a choice at the end:sob:
Filler episode that can be skipped. Felt out of place. Wish they just focused on the present.
I was just wondering who would get the origin story treatment this season. Couldn't think who it could be. But it'll be cool to see hers.
The show has used several actual LAFD locations throughout the show. But both previous origin episodes used the same wooden gym-esque location where I have been many times. So that was really cool to see. Hopefully they'll get to do the same with actual LAPD locations.
Origin story episodes are my absolute favorites! I'm so excited for this!!
this episode reminds me of Cold Case, and I miss that show

All of the backstories I've seen so far were great, but this one was truly special. Wow, what an episode.
