This is the best the Kim story has been: contained within a very small dose (only at the end), and also introduced a (somewhat) unexpected and interesting twist. (I mean, I assumed the mother was dead, but didn't expect her to be stuffed in the trunk.) Doesn't change the fact that it's still a stupid storyline, but it was bearable here.
Marie's insistence that she be brought along, or she'll just follow them, is dumb. They could very easily not let her into the building once she did arrive.
I hope there were no innocent bystanders who simply happened to be shopping at that store! They sure did just bust in there and start shooting everyone.
