Sipho Alexander Nxasana-Hartwell -- known professionally as Sipho Nxasana (born July 20th, 2006) -- is an African-American writer, producer, actor, and director. Born in North Carolina, at the age of 14, he began shooting short films on his iPhone 8, eventually investing into a camera and production equipment, and founding the student film studio "Cherry Street Studios". He is best known for his work on the fan-made short film series "Spider-Man: Morales", credited as writer, director, producer, and lead actor, playing the role of "Miles Morales". Nxasana initially began his career acting in musical theater, performing in stage productions "The Lion King Jr.", "Suessical the Musical", and "Working: The Musical". Nxasana was awarded "Best Performance in a Musical" for his performance in the stage musical "Working: The Musical". His other work includes story credits on the fan-made film "Spider-Man: Mirrored", and more recent collaborations with filmmaker Eric Elliott, on the upcoming film "Spider-Man and the Spectacular Spider-Verse".
