Deborah Watling was an actress best known for her role as Victoria Waterfield, companion to the Second Doctor as played by Patrick Troughton, in Doctor Who from 1967-1968. Other roles included the titular Alice in Dennis Potter's 1965 Wednesday Play concerning Lewis Carroll and his child muse, Alice Liddell (this was adapted for the big screen thirty years later with Dreamchild) and Norma Baker in Danger UXB.
