Best film in last 10 years or so, this on goes to my number 3 in my top 10, matrix is first and fight club second.
Very good movie. Excellent ending.
Though I doubt I could fight my own brother.
Good. The ending was a bit of a letdown.
Best MMA movie I will ever see.
Yup. IDC what older movie you throw at me.
"I think I liked you better when you were a drunk."
I cry every time I watch this movie. Nick Nolte, Tom Hardy and Joe Edgerton bring their A-game in this drama that looks like it might be just about fighting but it’s about inner demons and forgiveness as well. Can’t help but get hyped even though I have seen it a few times.
5/10
Too many cliches and the runtime is stretched. Not more than watchable
Good movie, Didn't like the ending.
By far the best fighting / MMA movie i have ever seen.
Story ist great with deep emotional Moments topped with accurate fighting scenes.
I only thing I would want to See different would have been full Fights
It was nearly perfect
This is Rocky, except without the cheese, bad acting and boring characters.
Still the best modern sports movie, although Creed comes pretty close.
The ending is predictable, but it’s executed very well.
Tom Hardy is a machine in this.
I absolutely love this movie. The fight scenes are amazing. The characters are played so well by the actors. I get way too emotional watching this movie...
Really good movie. Very re-watchable.
modern rocky story...
One of the best films in years!
If Anyone liked this movie then you should probably check out the Bollywood remake of this movie Brothers(2015)
Brothers is a must watch movie.
I just got a poster of Tom Hardy after watching this movie.
Bollywood is so much better at this kind of stuff, I really suggest if you have come here then
you should watch brothers &
Like this comment so others can see this on top
I don't know.. I really like Tom Hardy but this is one of his worst movies - far too many stereotypes.
What an awesome movie... wasn't expecting much of this movie but God, it surpassed all my expectations!
Awesome fighting, a really touching story...
Tom Hardy is such a good actor, can't wait to see him in The Dark Knight Rises!

I ♥ it!
A great dramatic story, exciting fights and more then one touching moment.
The only thing I was missing was a fight between Tommy & Koba, other then that...
the best fighting-drama since Rocky(Balboa) IMO!
This is a winner.
It’s well known that I think Tom Hardy is extremely overrated (so I might be biased), but I really think he’s the weakest link in this otherwise great movie. I like Warrior a lot, because it has awesome fighting and some good emotional depth. Brendan is by far the most interesting character, though. Tommy is just meh, but that isn’t a surprise to anyone.
One of my favorite movies
This is the kind of movie that makes you wish TRAKT had a rating for Good But Had the Potential to Be a LOT Better. In my opinion, this could have - should have - been an awesome movie but as it was, it has to settle for "not bad". The story was great, and IMO, Nick Nolte played perhaps one of his best roles in years... Too bad it petered out like they forgot what to do with him. Seriously, his scenes were incredible and (in some places) genuinely heart-rending. The fight scenes were decent, but - again - this movie had the potential to be so much better. I would love to have seen them give Kurt Angle a much stronger role in the movie, and the back story was pretty thin all around. This was a very good movie, a good story...and please note, it is NOT "Rocky" made over...with a superb twist, but generally, the whole was far less than the sum of its parts. This could have been close to one of my favorite movies of all times, but there were just too many places that it either fell apart or just fell flat. I love sports movies to the point of watching them over and over, but I doubt I'll ever watch this one again. Not because I already know how it ends, but mainly because of how lacking it was overall. Crying shame.
I am a sucker for sports films and also I should say I am a huge Rocky fan, so immediately I was excited to watch this film and after watching it I can confirm that it is amazing with some of the best acting I have ever seen from most of these actors. In this film you have four extremely strong performances and the story of these two brothers who are estranged from each other and their family is just so perfect (a little predictable but inspiring). Joel Edgerton (Brendan Conlon), Tom Hardy (Tommy Conlon), Nick Nolte (Paddy Conlon) and Frank Grillo (Frank Campana) are amazing in this film with Nick Nolte in my opinion giving a career-best that he for sure deserved to win an oscar for.
It's an amazing film about family, about sports and just motivation in general. Should also mention for action and fight scene lovers out there, this film has some of the best MMA scenes on film with both Joel Edgerton and Tom Hardy being total badasses in all of their fights but the film is less about that and more about these two brothers.
But that said, the last 30 minutes of this film is just so perfect as everything comes together so well and I recommend anyone who likes sports films, UFC or just a good drama to give this film a watch.
Just your run-of-the-mill Hollywood sports movie, Warrior is disappointingly static and mostly predictable with an armload of blatant plot holes. It does deserve credit for bucking convention in a few ways, particularly in building to the inevitable finale with two potentially viable results. Typically the happy ending writes itself halfway through the picture and then just goes through the motions to get us there: in Warrior, we follow both perspectives for the whole of the film and either outcome would make for an appropriate, warm ride into the sunset.
The fight scenes are fun, if highly exaggerated, takes on an in-vogue sport; it's about as realistic a portrayal of mixed martial arts as Rocky and The Replacements were to boxing and pro football. Nick Nolte deserves special mention for grizzling up and embracing his inner Burgess Meredith, but I didn't see anything above and beyond from leading men Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton.
Ok premise and good actors but way too long and cliched. This ain't Raging Bull.
Wow! What a great movie!!
One of the best movies ever made! Fucking loved it please dont miss this one
First of all I'm not quite sure how I went 6 years without seeing this. This is not only one of the best fight movie I have ever seen, it is one of the best movies I have ever seen!
MY ALL TIME FAVORITE MOVIE. This is on my list.
Just watched it for the fifth time. And it's just as good as watching it for the first time.
This film is spectacular one of the best movies I've seen, I like
Hardy is unbelievable in this. His best role/acting performance ! wow
One of the best sport movies of all time. In my humble opinion, this one is year light better than Rocky.
A fine sports/fight movie with great performances that deserves a wide audience.
Loved it, but the ending really sucked.
Great film, Tom have an excellent actuation, the last fight with his brother, wake up many feelings and with the song, simply wonderful.
I have two brothers , and the last scene , I was very touched .
Why I didn't see this before?... Simply great. The acting, the fights, the plot, the direction, the ending, everything. I really can't remember why I didn't see it before but anyway, I saw it now and it's excellent, I would've liked that Tommy had been the one to fight Koba but... By the way, Nick Nolte's acting was outstanding.
Amazing, touching film. Easily makes my top 20 films of all time.
Pretty good fight scenes but really...the story is just pathetic. Awful.
One of the best movies I've seen.
