This sequel to the anime series "Vampire Knight" follows the exploits of inquisitive student Yuki Cross, a teen in charge of protecting the daytime students of Cross Academy, who don't know that the dangerous nighttime students are actually vampires. Yuki is also trying to preserve the little humanity left of her longtime friend Zero, who drank the blood of a vampire, even as she uncovers shocking truths about her family's tempestuous history.
