Even worse than the first movie. Send the makers of this movie on a vacation with a one-way ticket far away from Hollywood.
Could not stomach Meredith Hagner's character. Spotlight on John Cena was less in this movie. It was not as good as I was expecting.
From my personal perspective, I must say that the level of humor in the sequel of this movie was somewhat underwhelming when compared to its original counterpart. Despite my initial anticipation for the film, I couldn't help but feel somewhat unsatisfied with the attempts at humor made throughout the movie.
I enjoyed that. It was longer than i expected but because it was well paced and funny it didn't feel all that long. Had me laughing throughout the movie. Good humor. Was stoked when i heard about this earlier in the week and it lived up to the hype i had for it.
The first one was a real surprise. Was hopeful for the sequel, but unfortunately this wasn’t good. Like, at all. John Cena is the only one that is kind of okay. Please, don’t make a third one.

This is an okay franchise (if you can call it that). It never overstays it's welcome and doesn't tread into crap territory, though it occasionally treads the line. The stands out are clearly John Cena and Meredith Hagner, not just because they're the crazy characters but they have impeccable comedic timing. Cena continues to excel in these against type roles. Can't say I'm a huge fan of Lil Rel Howery or Yvonne Orji. Not that either are bad - far from it. But they just pale as the straight men/women in comparison to Cena/Hagner. Not sure if the Buscemi addition works too well but I often found him tiring. Ronny Chieng is always great.
Overall an easy watch. Far worse films out there in 2023.
It’s about all I want out of a Hulu comedy! It’s cheesy, makes me chuckle, and I enjoy my time with it. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the first, but seeing a sequel got me quite excited. Far from a comfort comedy, but one I undoubtedly enjoyed!

Yes this was a bad sequel.
The first movie was decent for what it was but even for that low of comedy and laughs the movie was shallow. The production was very cheap, you can notice really awful green screen or characters in front. The laughs and jokes were bad and of course this should be end here.
Every character was really annoying and even Cena didn't save the movie.
After the first "Vacation Friends" film was a real surprise for me, this sequel left me completely cold. While the chemistry between the four main characters remains solid, the script delivers far fewer laughs than its predecessor. Apart from one or two chuckles, the film failed to elicit much emotion from me. The paint-by-numbers plot doesn't really help either; surprises are completely absent this time. The antics of the characters, which escalated every time due to the mismatched couples, were also inexplicably scaled back compared to the first part. And even though I really like Steve Buscemi, his character is really useless here and drags the movie down further. It would have been better to not make this sequel.
Not as good as the first one. It is a long movie and I wouldn’t watch it again but it did make me laugh now and then. I’m still not sure about John Cena and his acting.
"Wow. First one I liked. This one features some of the most horrific writing I've ever witnessed. The dialogue is trash like you wouldn't believe. 1-2 moments make it more than 0.0 I guess. Actors are mostly fine, but they were given so very little to work with here. Chieng also plays the same exact role in all films. Gross. I thought the flood would win for my razzy of the yr. 1.5 This takes the cake." Saw 9/1.

The first one wasn't even funny enough, why did they make sequel? This one is worse, I didn't giggle once.
Meredith Hagner reminds me of Kate Hudson.I loved the first movie. I usually go in with a lower bar for sequels. IMO, for a sequel, this movie was OK
In the beginning, I wanted some times to turn it off, but I decided to give it a chance, and I’m not disappointed. Is a Sunday afternoon movie
