IT'S JUST EASY GOOD OLD FASHIONED FUN.
EVERYONE IN THEIR ROLES ARE JUST HAVING FUN AND REALLY NOT TAKING ANYTHING TO SERIOUS WHICH IS FINE FOR AN EASY WATCH.
PLUS YOU GET BILL GOLDBERG BEING.....

It hasn't aged well but it's still a fun film to switch your mind off for 1h 22m
And it doesn't over stay it's welcome.
Rubbish TV at its trashiest. It is not a B, perhaps not even a C film.
Having said that: If you plan on having some silly laughs and completely brainless action scenes – have fun.
Astonishingly good soundtrack in some war scenes, especially considering it was made at the end of the ninties.
Just don't blame me, if you don't find a single good actor in that film. :wink:

It is hard to overstate how bad this movie is.
The premise makes no sense - why would Deveraux want to participate in such an awful program after experiencing the horror of it himself??? The script is trash, the fight scenes are muddy and lackluster. The acting on all fronts is atrocious, with the exception of Michael Jai White who is good in the ridiculous role he was given.
A massive waste of time and if I hadn't been distracted with work and chores I would've turned it off in the first 10 or so minutes.
