i didn't cry at all sarcasm
As a Disney fan, I have come to understand that sequels aren't their strong suit. However this film moved me and evoked a range of emotion that I wasn't expecting. Andy's "moving on" and the firescene were nothing short of beautiful. Certainly worth the watch.

The characters are familiar and enjoyable, yet "Toy Story 3" comes in a not too distant third in Pixar's most famous series of animated wonders. There's not a lot of additional things to experience through the eyes of these toys and of all of the characters, only Woody and Mr. Potato live up to or exceed their earlier roles. Funny, that's how good this trilogy has been. I'm talking about these cartoon characters as if they're actual actors. For my money, when Mr. Potato becomes a tortilla, it might be the funniest moment in any of the films.
The thing that keeps TS3 from matching the earlier movies is that it pulls on the heart strings way too much in its final moments and the final act is a little too heavy. The lightness and fun of the original and the sequel get lost somewhere along the way.
As expected the toys end up in a very happy situation. A just reward for all of the smiles they've provided over the decade since their debut.
Like an old slugger on the downswing of his career, under the right circumstances Pixar can still knock the ball out of the park. Toy Story 3 is living proof, vivid and playful and touching and meaningful at or above the lofty levels of their mid-peak masterworks. With a true ensemble cast, it allows the old stars to spin their familiar spells while tossing in a few new supporting players (Michael Keaton as Barbie's beau Ken is especially entertaining) but wisely doesn't focus on any single character for too long. With a roster this well developed, still clicking deep in their third feature, why not celebrate that kind of rare, wonderful diversity?
I'm glad Pixar waited to tell the right story, too: the level of care, meaning and power that's on display here simply doesn't come around all that often. Let's do it right or not at all, yeah?
Needless to add, it's a stunner visually, with brighter colors, more brilliant settings and no shortage of Pixar charm fitting right in alongside the timeless character designs and visual themes of the two preceding films. An essential tale that's effectively moving, sweet, heartfelt and hilarious... and maybe even the best chapter of the trilogy.
Toy Story 3 may be the best film of the series. In their final adventure Woody must rescue Buzz, Jessie, and the rest of the gang from a tyrannical daycare center. Once again Pixar delivers another poignant story about the life of a toy, and an inspirational message about friendship and loyalty. Though some of the material is derivative of the first two films, it works without coming off as a rehash or stale. For a generation that has grown up with Pixar, the Toy Story characters have become old friends and watching this film feels like coming home again. Toy Story 3 is a wonderful film that will entertain audiences to infinity and beyond.
Edges out the other two due to its mature story and fantastic characers—old and new alike—to forge the best adventure and best writing of the series thus far. And considering the other two, that's saying something.

This film gives us an epic and thrilling ending about Andy's relationship with his toys and at the same time makes us (like me) throw a tear.
A fantastic follow up to Toy Story 1 & 2, it could be a stand alone movie in it's own right. Hilarious at times, yet manages to pull on the heartstrings quite possibly more than any other Pixar movie.
My daughter loves this movie so much!!
Oh Not Again
Uh We Are Gathered Woody
Forget It Guys He's Not Worth It
Sooo cute! Perfect ending to a great serious! It's like these characters grew up with me :)
Was worth the wait :-)
can't help it, I actually cried :((
Fantastic movie for children and adults! 10/10
I like this best among all the Toy Story movies.
Delicately and wonderfully made. You can really feel the heart and soul of everyone involved in every aspect of this film.
Toy Story is at its best when it’s connecting to everyone in the audience through relatable life experiences. This movie absolutely nails that! While the first is still a bigger classic, this one is nearly on par as an overall experience!
Rating: 5/5 - 9.5/10 - Highly Recommend
this is my personal favourite of the franchise, the stakes are higher and everything seems more intense and real.
also the garbage crusher/fire scene?? top ten cinematic betrayals period:sob:
The Toy Story saga is Pixar at its absolute finest. (At least at the time of writing. 2015’s “Inside Out” is my new favorite Pixar movie.) This movie has everything you’d expect: jokes that appeal to adults and children alike, a fully realized world with colorful characters, and a whiz-bang plot that combines the power of animation with the genius of imagination.
But for me this film hits deep when it comes to what it has to say about what it means to be a child, and what it means to leave childhood behind. It powerfully leverages emotions built up over 15 years and three movies, especially in two key scenes at the end that still make me cry when I think about them. Most people disagree with my take on Boyhood, but I find Toy Story 3’s ending with Andy on his way to college to be heartbreaking on a whole other level.
One of the greatest Pixar animated films of all time.
I saw this in the theatres three times as a kid, if that doesn't say it's good, than i don't know anymore.
CGI and animation wise a nice step-up from the 2nd one (but with 11 years in between this is obviously no surprise) and the day care center was a nice idea to bring in something new. Story wise it was fun though I think that I still like the 2nd one a bit more. The ending was very sweet and the scenes during the end credits provided a nice conclusion (without that I'd probably only give it 7/10).
Also: Seems like Debian Buster is getting quite old /s (SCNR :D)
I don't love 'Toy Story 3' as much as its two predecessors. That doesn't mean that it isn't anything other than great though.
I enjoy the bountiful humour and intriguing plot, while the newly-introduced toys are very good. If I had to nitpick, I don't massively like Lotso, who kinda feels to me like a slight copy of The Prospector from the 1999 sequel - with the difference here being he's the ultimate antagonist, perhaps too villainous for my own personal taste. As I said though, just a tiny criticism in the grand scheme of these productions.
Tom Hanks remains on top form as Woody, as do all the others including Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) and Jessie (Joan Cusack). Ned Beatty does a terrific job as Lotso, while Barbie and Ken are brought to life well by Jodi Benson and Michael Keaton.
Once again there are some excellent scenes, with the ending also being entertaining just like in 'Toy Story 2'. There's also a lot of heart in the concluding scene. I'm surprised they did a fourth time, even if I do agree it's still a very good new instalment.
Pixar and Disney keep up a pretty remarkable high quality, even in the third film of the franchise. I will never tire watching these.
That moment Andy was looking at the toys and said "Thank you guys", That was us!
Thank you guys for being a part of our childhood until now that we are grown ups but whenever we look at you we see our childhood.
So Thank You Guys...
Probably my least favorite of the three so far but that ending is perfect and still has me choked up.
Lacks the narrative grace of its predecessors, but solidly brings the trilogy's core themes full circle.
Wonderful and touching for adults… Imagine for children.
Funny.
(Yes, there isn't more to say about it)
Cinema Paco 1. Picture 5/5, sound 4/5. Ends of the trilogy and the best of the 3 altough the other 2 were fine. 3D 4/5
Netter Film. Gute Fortsetzung nach 11 Jahren Pause. Bully Herbig als Woody? Ernsthaft?!

8.8/10. A wonderful film that features exciting and imaginative action sequence, that explores the idea of what happens to a toy when its owner outgrows it in a sensitive, meaningful way, and a examines the acceptance of change and how the things that helped us can help someone else just as much. There's Pixar films I like more (some of the second act where Woody is sequestered at Bonnie's and the other toys are discovering Lotso's deal are a little flabby), but it's a wonderful realization of the ideas of friendship, connection, and devotion that the series has been exploring from the very beginning.
