So on the surface this looks like a fairly cookie-cutter comedy: a man and woman decide to get married and then hi-jinx ensued. We've seen that before, right? Well, not so fast.
I think what surprised me most about the film was the layers that were unexpected. At first there was the mother-daughter connection but then we began to see the connection back to their ancestry. While the movie as a whole was very good it was the last twenty minutes or so that really stood out. I was pleasantly surprised by the movie as a whole.
