Tom and Jerry & The Wizard of Oz is an entertaining and fun crossover of the classic cartoon duo and the beloved 1939 musical. The film faithfully retells the story of Dorothy going to the magical Land of Oz and confronting the Wicked Witch of the West, but does so through the characters of Tom and Jerry; who were on Dorothy’s farm and follow her along on her journey. The voice actors do a great job at recreating the voices of the original actors, but the animation, while doing an extraordinary job at capturing the look of the musical, is a little weak on the character designs. Also, Tom and Jerry, by virtue of being silent characters, are kind of limited in what they can do. Still, all-in-all, Tom and Jerry & The Wizard of Oz is a lovely tribute to these two properties that kids of all ages can enjoy.

Found this on a whim while flicking through channels, it was so funny how it pretty much paralleled with the original film, slotting Tm, Jerry and Munchkin Mouse in there somewhere. 90% of the dialogue was identical!
