Always loved this movie. It’s a very sweet and funny comedy that makes you laugh over and over again
Hilarious Movie From Starting to Ending Hahahhahah
Certain scenes will stick out more than others in the Farrelly Brother's third film: There's Something About Mary. I first saw the film when it came out in 1998 and to this day there are real winners. However, on re-watch I was struck that there are quite a few scenes that are not all that funny. This could have been that I watched the Extended Edition. I looked up the differences and would have to say none of those scenes should have been revived from the cutting room (see: https://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=1407).
In my memory this was a Ben Stiller and Cameron Diaz film, but the best scenes were involving Matt Dillon. His character is awful and just overall hilarious.
How the hell you get the beans above the frank?!
Although much of the characters are creepers, there are some pretty funny gags. It’s not an amazing movie but I still find it pretty easy to watch with some decent amount of laughs.
From the Farrelly brothers comes the classic ‘90s comedy There’s Something About Mary. When a therapy session awakens feelings for his old high school girlfriend, Ted decides to track her down but finds that the PI that he hired to find her has fallen for her too. Starring Cameron Diaz, Ben Stiller, Matt Dillon, and Chris Elliott, the film has a strong cast that has great chemistry together; delivering a ton of laughs. However, in typical Farrelly brothers style, some of the humor is a bit crass and over-the-top. Still, most of the jokes hit and the soundtrack is lighthearted and fun. There’s Something About Mary has its weak spots, but overall it’s a wildly entertaining film.
The eponymous "something" is her nipples. She doesn't wear a bra in the whole film.
Some absolute clangers in this one.
There's Something About Mary is an iconic 90's comedy that has become a classic. The film's blend of raunchy humor and romance is perfectly balanced, making it a standout example of the kind of comedy that defined the 90's. It doesn’t quite reach the level of Forgetting Sarah Marshall in my opinion, but is definitely worth a watch.
i'd rate this higher if not for such bad comedy. the one saving grace in this whole movie was mary, or rather her eyes. i think i'm in love too.
This is a very good romantic comedy by the Farrelly Bros.. Just like in "Dumb and Dumber" or "King Pin", the brothers have made a comedy that has just the right amount of everything. Excellent job!!
Hilarious when it first came out. Still has its moments.

I've seen it many times and still can't help laughing.
