This was a nice movie. More than that i can't say about it. It was nice, but nothing special beyond that. A solid performance though from both Laura Linney and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
It did make me think about my own parents and what things will be like in 20-30 years from now when they (might) have to be put into a nursing home.
I like these kind of movies that can somehow reflect on your own personal life. Unfortunately those kind of stories are almost exclusively Indie movies that are very difficult to find. If one of my private trackers didn't make it as their weekly favorite movie i probably would not have found it.

This film hit a little close to home as at this writing having a similar issues with my in-laws. This is a fine movie and the acting by Linney and Hoffman is exactly what you would expect (oh I miss Hoffman). It's by no means a great film - I think What They Had is a far superior entry into this genre.
