Totally abandoning the concept of a gay water polo team in competition, Revenge of the Shiny Shrimps decides to drop the comedy and focus on homophobia in Eastern Europe. While this is certainly an admirable topic, the lack of focus between burlesque skits and drama pamphlets make this movie like the abandoned scampi: a cold tale with no heart.
