Honestly very wayward I’m sure it thinks it’s very clever but it’s just not entertaining.
Dark and oppressive but it is charismatic enough to lure you in. A little like a real-life cult leader then. If you can forgive the slow pace, this film might surprise you.
I was suckered into watching this through some cleverly designed promotional material that looked like a proper review.
Don't make the same mistake as I made.
In some parts, it tries to capture the wild desolate feel of the original Wicker Man, but with a couple of major differences. This has a much weaker story, and is mainly rubbish.
I can't recommend this one.
I was so happy when that talentless nonce got his head stoved in. It really makes the whole movie worth while.
This is why you never start a cult with 20 women and a single male. It's all fun and games until they collectively decide they've had enough of you. Especially when you're really pushing that finger fetish.
Haunting scenes and a great payoff.
I wouldn't call it a horror movie. It wasn't bad, just really really slow. I don't know where the locations were but visually it was nice.

Honestly, the storyline went over my head. Didn't understand it at all. Wasn't even considered a "horror" or "thriller", the movie did not gave me any of those emotions. Definitely a "meh" for me.
