The Neighbor 2016

Way different than I expected. Well it's a very different movie in general. I love the setup. It has flaws, definitely, like some pretty deep plot holes, but I really enjoyed it for what it was.

good beginning psycho vibes i was like wow that will be good movie ..and i got it this is not even horror its about crime and kinda not type of my movies i like to watch... but okay i give the chance and then ok ok boom stupid end ok not that stupid but somebody destroy an good idea

Occasionally tense thriller that should make your own neighbour appear like a saint in comparison.

Funny how Josh Stewart basically ends up playing the same character he did in 'The Collector' but this "home invasion gone wrong" plot isn't as exciting here. This movie is a bit dull and monotonous for most of its runtime, then things finally pick up pace and the ending is quite satisfying. Too bad none of the "Chekhov's gun" setups or character traits introduced in the first hour paid off.

I do not understand how it is possible that someone tagged this movie with "serial killer". Idiot.
It is something like movie Disturbia but with bad actors, boring plot and with main character who looks like he is still sleeping during acting. Or maybe he is just doing drugs in real life too.

actually really enjoyed - got pretty damn gripping :)

If I'm being mean this is basically Marcus Dunstan doing the same sneaking around "plot" as on "The Collector" just a lot less fancy (budget), a lot less inspired (generic antagonists) and unfun (action, pacing).
