The Juniper Tree (an early 50s avant garde film made in the late 80s) is a black & white, Icelandic-American coproduction of a Brothers Grimm tale of the same name featuring baby Björk in her first ever film role. I know so little about avant garde (I'm not even sure I'm right when that's what I call this one) that I don't hardly know if I like this one or not. What I do know is that I'm glad I saw it and am glad I won't see it again.
