It's a great thriller...So intense and the acting's really amazing
Charlie is totally believalable as Psycho
Great movie to watch the day before you move into your new dream house :scream:
For a while, this was trashily enjoyable. And then, despite a loony tunes turn from Quaid, it was just trash.
This movie was a huge disappointment. The characters were dumb and had every chance to escape / call the police / make better choices. Low-key racism. Insults intelligence of audience. By the end of the movie you wish for Dennis Quaid to kill them and win.
The story is alright, but it's the cinematography and Dennis Quaid/Charlie (the character is creepy as hell) that really boost the production value. 6/10
long ass film for such a short pay off
At first I thought 'Dennis Quaid as a bad guy?? No' but he delivered! Also, I went into this movie thinking this was just another one of those B thriller movies. Actually quite enjoyed it. There was suspense and a nice build up. They didn't try to throw you off with some stupid side plot, you could tell where this movie was going and it was fine.
very very very amazing film
A smart and well-crafted home invasion thriller, The Intruder is intense and frightening. When a young married couple buys their dream house out in the country they get more than they bargained for, as the previous owner continually shows up uninvited and proves to have an unhealthy obsession with the house. Dennis Quaid, Michael Early, and Meagan Good lead the cast and give strong performances. And while the plot is formulaic, it does a good job at creating tension and suspense along with an intriguing mystery about the former homeowner. Disturbing and full of chills, The Intruder is a pretty solid horror film.
Enjoyed this one. Most of the movie it was really creepy.
Dennis Quad is Great in what is a predictable Horror Mystery, he is the only saving grace of this film
Great cast. Dennis Quaid is outstanding in this phyco thriller.
I thought the ending was perfect.
That was freaking intense. Top notch psychological thriller that managed to make the most out of a potential generic story. 9/10
I enjoyed the film. The story was decent. The characters were well acted. Nobody was inherently stupid. The other reviewer claiming racism is wholly wrong and stupid.
I personally was rooting for Dennis Quaid to kill them all

Dennis Quaid is the perfect old creepy guy that won't leave you alone but I was kinda cheering for him in the end after seeing how dumb Annie was.
