The Heat 2013

I know I'm probably in the minority of people who loved this movie as much as I did but I think there's just something spectacular about Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy's chemistry on screen. They were able to come together and make a really fun and entertaining movie that definitely had some laugh out loud moments.

It was pretty funny, and I really love Melissa and Sandra so they made the movie even better for me. I also enjoyed watching Taran do something other than SNL because he's awesome!

Fantastic comedy, Bullock and McCarthy are an excellent pair with a lot of hysterical gigs and laughs. Highly recommended.

This film was amazing, and a refreshing and necessary take on the buddy cop movie. I essentially watched it twice back to back, and I honestly can't wait to watch it again. Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy are hilarious together. I really hope they do a follow-up.

hilarious :D ... the storyline isn't genious, but it doesn't have to be .. this film is non-stop chuckling and laughing :p

If you've never seen the point of Sandra Bullock, watch this ツ

This is nothing more than a run-of-the-mill buddy cop movie. Two square pegs trying to fit into two round holes. There's absolutely nothing new here and the success of "The Heat" rests solely on the shoulders of its two stars, Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy.

Most of the time, I find newer comedies to be unfunny. The vast majority of them try to get laughs by making jokes about genitalia or excrement (dick and poop...see how much funnier those words are?). And even though that's the class of quality comedy delivered most of the time in "The Heat", Bullock and McCarthy (especially) are quirky and spunky enough to make you chuckle. McCarthy mumbles some pretty funny nicknames and stinging insults and Bullock is so uptight that you end up laughing.

The story is, as you would expect, Cliché'd. but the movie itself is, surprisingly, really funny.

Did Melissa Mcarthy get inspiration from Jonah Hill or something?

Hysterical. Absolutely hysterical. There were moments in the theater when it was hard to hear the dialogue because everyone was laughing so much. A must see.

Average movie. Both Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy did a great job at portraying their roles and there were some laugh out loud funny moments throughout the movie. This movie is about a FBI agent from New York and a police officer from Boston who are forced to team up to find a drug lord in Boston. The FBI agent initially relocates to Boston in order to get a promotion in her job back home, and is prepared to do the job alone, until the Boston cop shows up. Together, after slipping up multiple times, they manage to find the drug lord, who turns out to be working for the DEA. In the end, the FBI agent turns down her promotion and decides to stay in Boston to help fight crime.

Great comedy with 2 amazing actors

One of the most annoying comedies of all time. Terrible jokes, terrible acting, terrible characters. The list goes on. I wouldn't see this again even if I got paid to do it.

Expected it to be funny but it was quite touching too. The yearbook scene had me tearing up!

That line: "What's wrong, you look pale". Haha!

We watched 30 minutes before just turning it off. There were some brief moments where we would chuckle slightly but it's mostly a non-stop stream of unnecessary and extremely unfunny vulgar language. I'm not opposed to vulgar when it contributes to the movie, but this was just worthless crap.

Good enough! Some good actors and o good storyline!

I don't see why everyone was raving about this movie. It's not original, creative, or funny. Crude humor. Plot was an afterthought. I wouldn't recommend this.

I only got 30 minutes in.

The story has no originality, it's a thing that you have seen many and many times, another buddy cop film but the truth is that The Heat is extremely enjoyable and funny!
Melissa McCarthy is so hilarious and her chemistry with Sandra Bullock was great!
