I don't know why, but The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals hit different this time around. Maybe it's because I watched it in the middle of an actual pandemic. Regardless, I found myself enjoying myself more the second time. The jokes are great, the songs are all fantastically written (and work well with the story, too).
I said in my last review that I didn't like Paul very much, but I think I understand him now: he's just a guy who's done with all the crap around him and just wants to do whatever it takes to not be in a musical. I admire that resolve.
