This was... VERY different from what I was expecting, but still a nice a beautiful film. Visually delightful, even when the storyline goes a little boring - it's a biopic, afterall. Somehow, the romantic subplot does not seem to fit in the narrative, feels a little unecessary and dislocated - and still, it does use SO MUCH screen time "developing".
