The Cured 2017

There's not many good infected films out there but this was different to many with a good plot and turned out to be a decent film..

Thematically similar to the ace British tv drama 'In the Flesh,' the film falls short in comparison. It's still worth a watch, but it's not as innovative as it might once have been.

Same thing happened when they cured Veganism

Nice ideas, terrible exploitation.
Everything is unlikely and poorly established and narrated.
Nothing is credible for a second, most of the time because of the mediocre dialogues and of the low budget that no creative action can hide.

It's a new concept in zombie genre, thought provoking and thrilling, the antagonist was great, characters took realistic actions and faced their consequences, some questions unanswered maybe we can expect a sequel in future, it's underrated for sure

not a horror, more a dystopian thing given that it's picking up after they've found a cure. excellent acting all around. bleak, and sad, but also enthralling and a little bit hopeful.

What happens after? It's always a question I have when watching zombie flicks. Usually you just assume no one survives or the zombies don't survive. In this case...what do you do when you can cure zombies, but only some? There are a number of moral questions that spiral out of this, setting up a rich backdrop for a number of possible storylines. With a 90 minute film you can't dive deeply into many, but the focus that this movie gives to reintegration is a worthy topical choice. If you're looking for a traditional zombie romp, move along, but if you have been curious about the aftermath of a zombie outbreak, this is a highly recommended choice.

Maked big budget zombie movies look hollow and stupid, and movie that does that shouldnt be so underated. This movie was fresh, acting was terrific, Tom Vaughan Lawlor reminds me a lot of Ralph Fiennes, maybe from him he learnt to become the calm looking psychopath; Story has a way stronger focus on political and ethical issues, by focus i mean not just that cliché scene where tv shows reporters everywhere reporting the zombie outbreaks and their screen turns to snowflakes kind of thing, but it set quite some puzzles for the main characters and us moviegoers to think through. this blend makes the zombie apocalypse realistic, and a whole lot more interesting then just struggling to survive or looking for cure. think about it. right?
