Olga Kurylenko stars in the straight-to-video action film The Courier. When a wealth business puts a hit on a witness in protective custody a mysterious courier intervenes and attempts to get him to safety. Kurylenko gives a strong performance and is especially good at the stunt work and fight choreography. And Zackary Adler’s directing enhances the tension and excitement of the action scenes. But the plot is rather cliché and is full of the usual tropes. Yet while the material familiar, The Courier is still fairly entertaining.

So. I expected to watch a B-movie and that's pretty much what I got. There's a parking garage cat and mouse chase that goes on for far too long. However. Somehow I actually enjoyed this movie. I really liked the ending and - it - left - me - wanting - more.

Not the best story line, or directing in fact, but this was not bad for a B class.
Gary Oldman should know better, but, he prolly got a nice paycheck for a couple of hours work wearing an eyepatch and listening to opera's, while staring and gesturing into the camera. Dermot Mulroney hasn't actually starred in anything in ages, but has found his niche playing forgettable characters in C-List movies, however, it pays the bills, so, who am I to judge? They were pretty much the poster "bait" in this bait and switch straight to DVD (not even on Blu Ray) endeavor, which is pretty much a feminized rip-off of The Transporter, but with packages and a Motorcycle instead of people and cars.
Olga Kurylenko, who continues her run as the pretty on the outside, but deadly underneath "Bond Girl" type with a past she's trying to put behind her, but then, "a girls gotta do what a girl's gotta do", when push comes to shove. It's not horrible, but, you really have to suspend disbelief unless you believe that Rhonda Rousey or Holly Holmes on their best day's could take out Tyson Fury, Mike Tyson, or Dave Bautista in a street fight. The mismatches are just THAT mismatched. It COULD have worked if she outsmarted them, or, was hella stealthy about dispatching the baddies, but, often, she just strides up and goes ham on them, to the point that it's just plain silly.
More believable it the treachery that multi billions can purchase, even in the formerly esteemed halls of the alphabet agencies, given the current state of events and guvment' corruption.
There IS however a nice twist in a twist at the end, which, if this were a slightly better movie, might warrant a follow up, but, I think it's best to let this dog lie, as it peacefully passes away in it's sleep.
Don’t bother with this movie.
I knew it wasn’t going to be good, but I didn’t think it’d be that awful. Non-stop repetitive action mixed with very bad lines and too much yelling from most characters. William Moseley was especially bad in this one. Olga Kurylenko’s fighting was pretty good though.
Olga is the only one who delivers their lines believably, everyone else could be a stick drawing. Olga kicks ass well (although there's 5 cuts during a single punch sometimes), the British guy is so annoying I wanted him dead within 10 seconds.
there's one decent kill near the end.
lazy blood splatter fx just laid over the movie in place is only acceptable on home movies these days

It starts well, but that almost everything takes place in a garage and the bad guy's house, with a seedy setting, it doesn't help. Gary Oldman's bad, a classic, Olga Kurylenko shooting and fighting, good. To pass the time, okay, even if it's for Olga
The only thing this courier delivers is junk mail! It's terrible, but worth a look, if only to see Peter from the Narnia movies play a bad guy.
I was trying to watch the 2020 version of The Courier, (https://trakt.tv/movies/the-courier-2020-01-24), but ended up with this pile of steaming shit. oh, he joys of free streaming!Thanks to covid there was nothing on and this was all we had to watch, so we suffered through it. It's like they got a pile of money to make this and forgot to leave money for decent actors and writers and location shots and logic. This is a solid 0/10. If you need a root canal and the dentist doesn't have novocaine, take him/her up on the offer!!
Could be much better sucks to short director to bad I have seen better with this actress from ukrenia Olga kurylenko and Gary oldman has no soul in this movie from a vampire super actor what a bad job just for the money I presume and the lack of the director
