i love this dutch spinoff of the series evil. in all sincerity i had no clue that katja herbers was dutch so i went into this movie assuming it was english and was surprised, but not unpleasantly so. it's truly as ridiculous, silly and quirky as the evil series is, or maybe as another commenter mentioned, an episode of black mirror. i liked it, nothing special but also plenty of fun.

So, a Columnist is getting cyber-bullied on social media, but one day she has enough and decides to take revenge.
OK with that small plot line in mind, I expected nothing more than a ridiculous, yet fun ride, which is what I got. It also helps that Katja Herbers makes for an entertaining lead character, who manages to balance frustration, pity, and humour in her performance.
This is one of those movies that could have easily been a Black Mirror episode.
However, at times I kind of question how exactly she knows where some of these people who sent her nasty comments live, or is it that easy to track people on the internet? Not a spectacular movie by any means, but it never bored me.

A satirical revenge fantasy using a contemporary subject and does something interesting with. It delivers sharp commentary on internet trolls and our obsession with them that's full of dark humor and violent kills. I enjoyed how the story played out and there's something so satisfying watching social media trolls get their comeuppance. The tension is palpable throughout and Katja Herbert is terrific in the lead role. Time well spent watching this one.
