The Cleansing Hour 2020

This film is not great, but not the worst. The acting is average, the script is terrible at times, the CGI looks cheap and the story dragged out and got boring.
Overall it’s okay for a low budget horror, but if you’re hoping to be scared then this film isn’t it

I admit the poster art for The Cleansing Hour on put me off however after listening to your review I gave it a watch and was pleasantly surprised....I really enjoyed it! Modern take on the exorcism genre.

I'm very disappointed with the film. The film takes place in only one place, and with time, the film becomes more and more crap, but on the other hand, I have to highlight the film effects of those there were many. Unfortunately, the plot and story of the film were a bit like a parody of horror, and the end of the film only confirmed it. There is a lot of disappointment from the high expectations of this film, but at least I didn't get bored as with other horror movies and sometimes I laughed, because certain passages of the film were more ridiculous, mainly because you were amazed at what screenwriters can do for bullshit. It's just a shame that with a movie that could have been good it has become more of a farce. Sorry my English is bad.

I'm surprised at how much I actually enjoyed it. Extra point for that. Pretty solid acting.

The Cleansing Hour is one of those films where the ending surpasses the rest of the film. As if the entire film was made just to reach the ending and leave the audience begging for a sequel. And it works: I would like to see a sequel.

This movie is solid. Great acting, great script, great pacing. It was a lot of fun to watch and the ending had a great pay-off, which is rare for a horror movie.

I actually really enjoyed this. Different twist on standard exorcism films and some nice practical effects.
