Martin Short stars in the insipid children’s holiday special The Cat in the Hat Knowns a Lot About Christmas. Despite the title, the plot really has nothing to do with Christmas. Rather it’s just another misadventure the Cat in the Hat gets into while taking a pair of children on a ride in one of his fantastical contraptions. The characters are annoying as all get-out and the songs are terrible. And the animation is dull and boring. The Cat in the Hat Knowns a Lot About Christmas is abysmal, and has none of the magic of the season.
