Shudder’s latest exclusive The Bunker Game is probably the most bland, boring and utterly nonsensical horror film to come out this year. That's too bad because it has a solid sense of visual style, pretty exceptional camerawork, and great score, unfortunately I had zero investment in the story. The plot is unbelievably stupid and unrealistic in the first place. You start the film thinking it's going to be an entertaining nonsense but after a while it becomes a boring, far too long, nonsense. There's a little to no thrilling moments in what is supposed to be a mystery thriller and the characters are super generic. All the style and no substance.
It is bad when the blurb for the movie is better than the movie itself.
