Like a loud, obnoxious drunk in a family restaurant who makes you uncomfortable, but not enough that you leave.
Sweet Thing is a black & white postcard sent from the Florida Projects.
There may not be a lot new in this film, but young Lana Rockwell is a revelation.

As if it were a diptych about childhood, Lana and Nico once again play two brothers who live with their father. More developed as a story, especially in the portrait of adults, there is a melancholic gaze (in the musical selection, for example), which shows an adolescence faced with more serious problems. It is, again, a poetic vision of a road movie, now not in search of something, but fleeing from someone.
