I loved it. Movies like these only come around once every 3 years.
Omg, i liked it! Its not soo familiar with others action movies, and soo much cool characters! Main protagonist is really awesome, you have to watch it!
More or less it’s a Crank knockoff. High action level with over the top concepts that makes a thrilling viewing experience. I really enjoyed this and will likely watch it many more times, but I’m more likely to recommend the Jason Statham equivalent!
Rating: 3/5 - 75% - Worth Watching
The two times I've watched this was first for Chris and now for Patrick. Gotta say though the one for Patrick is a much more fun viewing. LOL I've mostly seen him in serious roles but he can be really silly and funny too.
Patrick Wilson stars in the offbeat comedy Stretch. The story follows a limo driver named Stretch who picks up an eccentric millionaire who offers to payoff Stretch’s gambling debts if he sticks with him throughout a wild night of debauchery. Co-starring Jessica Alba, Ed Helms, and Chris Pine, the film has a pretty good cast. However, the script is weak and doesn’t seem to know where it’s going most of the time. And, a lot of the crazy shenanigans seem random and contrived. Stretch is a bit of fun, but it’s also messy and unfocused.
This was OK, I guess. It was better than I expected. That said, my rating is still rounded up to 6, not down.
On the plus side, I only caught one continuity error: The Amazing Reappearing License Plate. (Stretch removes the limo's rear license plate in one scene, but it is back in a later shot of the vehicle being towed. A short shot, but not so short you'll miss it by blinking.)
What impresses me most about Stretch is the filming budget. With $5 million, Joe Carnahan pulled off a half-decent thriller with respectable production values. Nothing about the movie felt especially low budget—and while I realize that $5M is not pocket change, it's not uncommon for this kind of film to cost many times that amount. The quality of the visual and practical effects was pretty damn good for such a relatively low-budget movie with several big-name actors in main and cameo roles.
I was less impressed by the humor, but reading the IMDB trivia gave me the most probable reason: The film's original writer (Jerry Corley) used to write for The Tonight Show, which I never found particularly funny. Just not my brand of humor. That's not to say I never laughed during Stretch; just that a lot of the jokes did fall flat for me. The ones that landed were good enough.
Ed Helms' character ("Karl with a K") was my favorite, and he didn't get nearly enough screen time. Fortunately I watched Tag (2018) not too long ago, which featured Helms in the primary lead role, and was pretty good. The bloopers run during the credits for Stretch gave me a bit more of him, too. (They could have almost sent out the blooper reel instead of the film; it was that good.)
Maybe there was a better film here, maybe there wasn't. It was a short movie that felt like a long one. follow me at https://IHateBadMovies.com
I expected to be more crazy or funny but it was ok
Crazy movie, got some funny moments but clearly it's not going to be for everybody. Chris Pine's character was crazy as hell, I really enjoyed it, very funny, that and the thing he said about the python was the best.
oki liek this film who i can sho this movis

Stretch is an underrated treat from Joe Carnahan. The characters are funny but their situation is interesting through the whole 90 minute run time with several funny cameos as well. Patrick Wilson gives one of his best performances and Stretch makes for a fun ride.
