An amazing directing debut from Ray Romano in which he gives us this beautifully crafted simple story about family, sacrifice, and love. This movie feels so real and everybody in it gives a great performance. Also an amazing story about the relationship of basketball between a father and son.
I really enjoy these smaller scale dramedies where the plots are relatable and grounded. Ray Romano puts out a solid effort in his directorial debut and I’ll likely watch this one again sooner than later. It likely won’t be for everyone, but if you enjoy these types of movies then this one is in your wheelhouse.

The plot of the movie is one I've seen quite often, and the characters can be quite annoying and boring in how they are written. Overall, I'd say this movie is a fine watch, but unoriginal in what it's trying to do.
