This movie is unfortunately very boring. I thought it would be a dumb action movie, it's not.
Very Boring and totally unrealistic.
No clue why this drove under the radar because as a crime drama it was fairly rock solid (the generic poster didn't help though)
Surprisingly, a lot of good actors are in this movie. The Rock plays a normal guy who can be beaten by a bunch of thugs on the street, which is a rare role for him - nowadays he basically plays the same character over and over. His character is also great, he's a father who's willing to sacrifice a lot to help his son after a seriously dumb mistake made by him. Jon Bernthal is great as always.
The weak point of the movie is that it's too long and kinda boring, a lot of expositions and stuff like that, half of the movie is gray or dark.
Still worth watching one time at least.
Decent movie. Gritty but with a low budget feel. A little action. A little drama. A bit of pathos. Solid actors - and based on a true story.
Jon Berenthal deserves all the plaudits he gets. He delivers every time.
DJ does well albeit a little one-dimensional emotionally at times.
Solid, watchable fare. I'd take 5 of these over a Netflix Movie of the Week.
6.5/10
Dwayne Johnson is usually typecast for the action role. This movie doesn't have a noteworthy amount of it, though.
But if you put that expectation aside, the movie still leaves a lot to be desired.
Underwhelming in an otherwise intriguing enough plot.
Dwayne "the rock" Johnson hands down did an amazing job portraying the father who would go to any length to save his son! I wasn't expecting this movie to be this good but it had me.
Une histoire d'amour paternel.. la fin est très bien ficelée !
I like seeing The Rock in a non traditional role for him. Not a great film but it was enjoyable.
It was kind of boring but I love the way they show the possible sacrifices that a father would offer for his son
dunno what these people are on about i thought it was excellent! delivered what you expected nothing more, nothing less. solid movie, def recommend it!
Rocks worst ever film? saying something I know as he's been in some shite (and I like him) but he needs to stick to his limits and blow shit up in the opening scene.
Loved the conviction of the son.
it was a waste of time :(

Jon Bernthal is so convincing in this one! Love him.
