Snakes on a Plane 2006

Loved it and would definitely recommend you to watch I don't get why the movie is hated so much because of the cg snakes and I personally don't think its that bad.The movie is also action packed throughout and a bit funny but not to much to make it into the comedy genre.

A fast pasted and cool action thriller with a hilarious Samuel L. Jackson as FBI Agent Flynn: "Enough is enough! I have had it with these motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking plane!"

The first in the "Stupid rewatches of 2016" list...

One of the more stupid action thrillers ever made. It doesn't even help to have Mr. Jackson as a main with such a stupid premise. Why I ever decided to rewatch this is beyond me...

Just stay away from it. Except for a few good one-liners, this has nothing worthwhile to offer.

It's a lot better than I remember from when I was a child, and this should be nowhere near children. The trauma I had from snakes being in toilets more than a plane is unexplainable. The only times I hated this movie were when the scenes were actually executed well. The script, acting, and casting were perfect ingredients for a fly high comedy, but it took itself seriously and nosedived straight into a pit of snakes. The graphics and production quality were more of a shock factor than the stupidly funny writing, which is insane. Take it as a satire and you might just get through it.

Definitely better than I remember.

I forgot how over-the-top this movie was. I loved watching this movie again in 2021 after a long time since first watching it around 2006. :rofl:

This isn't fine cinema, it is what it advertised, a ridiculous movie and on that note it succeeds.

I have a soft spot for this dumb movie because I saw it when I was in middle school and thought it was so awesome hearing Sam Jackson giving his signature line.

Yeah, it's as stupid as it sounds. Even the attempt at "humor" isn't funny.

Essentially Sharknado before that was a thing. Snakes on a Plane is no deep thinker, it's just a chill out, fun, action movie. A little bit campy but not so much that the whole thing is treated like a joke. A fun watch all around.

So much hype for this movie, and I was bored through it all. So many of the characters were one-dimensional and without depth, making me wishful for their eventual deaths. I didn't care for any of the characters, including Sam L.J.'s character, and that's saying something, since he's a fantastic actor.
