Silverado 1985

This might be my favorite western movie of all time. A stellar cast, a great story...it even made me believe that Kevin Kline could be a cowboy, and a pretty kick a** one at that! Great musical theme by Bruce Broughton that I can still listen to and enjoy 30+ years later. Worth taking the time to watch it!

In 1985, Lawrence Kasdan gave the world Silverado. The best movie I had ever seen as a kid, and STILL one of my all-time favorites. It has everything a western should have. Gunfights, saloons, horses, stampedes, and of course a lot of fun. The story is great, the acting is great, and it has an excellent score by Bruce Broughton. Just about everything about this movie is great.

Silverado is a great movie, and is probably the movie I'll mention if anyone asks what movie is my favorite of all time.

Years without seeing her. We were surprised how good it sounds. Good script, actors and direction, all western topics covered, only the Indians have been missing

Not too bad for an 80s production but still, quite roughly made. A poor man's Tombstone.

A revival of the classic Western genre.

This was a nice little movie. Nothing really jumped out at you but it was worth the time. It stars Kevin Kline, Scott Glenn, Danny Glover and a very young Kevin Costner (playing a really goofy character).

Super fun Western with some really likeable characters and a great cast. A couple of story threads are left a little undercooked, but overall it's a good time.
