I wanted to like this more than I did. At times something was missing, but I can't put my finger on it.
I found this to be really weird.
I too kinda expected more. Still enjoyed it but think it was missing something.
I started this once before and gave up on it because it had a slow start, but I eventually came back and gave it another try, and this time around, I really enjoyed this movie. If you like comedy from the UK, than this will be right up your alley.

I was very let down with this, especially since the concept of this film sounds right up my alley. Blending mumblecore with ultra-violent horror sounds very interesting, however the execution isn't completely there for me. It's uneven, a bit pretentious, and never quite funny or bizarre enough to stand apart. It certainly has its moments, particularly in the first act, but it fails to be consistently funny or interesting due to poorly constructed tonal shifts. There's nothing particularly notable about the performances either. There's some abstract imagery and various montages thrown in here, but it doesn't quite work in this film and comes off as pretentious and off-putting. Overall, it feels too uneven and nowhere near funny enough to recommend it.
