This was different. I expected that one of the newlyweds-to-be was a spy or something - turns out they are just normal folk who adapt quite easily to being chased and shot at. There are several genuine funny bits in it which makes it worth a watch.

A movie meant to be fun and silly. It achieves the goal perfectly, an excellent option for when you just want to enjoy something without thinking.

cliche but with worth a watch characters.

Why do I constantly let my low key infatuation with Jennifer Lopez as an actress blind me. This movie was a just okay, nothing special, nothing new, it was fine if it was on but I wouldn’t again, not even Jennifer Coolidge helped it.

Think of the WORST movie you've ever seen and multiply by 10... that's not even close to how bad this movie is.
I was forced to watch this by my wife, when it got to the part where JLo had a hand grenade, I begged her to toss it onto my livingroom floor so I could fall on it.

I got what I expected from 'Shotgun Wedding'.

It is exactly the type of film that you'd think it would be, mostly in a negative way. I like Jennifer Lopez and she's solid enough, while Jennifer Coolidge and Lenny Kravitz are the minor standouts elsewhere. The rest? I don't have any positives, I'm afraid. The plot is pointlessly overdone and overstays its welcome, as anticipated.

I, personally, wouldn't go as far to say it's a bad movie, but it most definitely fails to entertain. I do like the final scene of Kravitz's though, it's pretty cool and fairly well done. For me, overall, this is a standard 6/10 flick - the type that I won't remember by the end of the week, unfortunately.

This is simple been there a million times cliche nonsense. Don't waste your movie watching time here.

If this weak thread of pre-marital problems were cut out, it would even be a good action movie. ;)

I watched a lot of romantic comedies, ive had enough, but I still wanted to check this duo of great actors. I had fun, I even laugh on multiple occasions so thats already shocking. The was so much killing it was shocking in a romantic comedy for me and the action made it fresh even though they really started killing and taking guns and making jokes. Shouldnt be silly yet they made it fun somehow.

Definitely one you could watch couple times.

Disappointing. The actors were fine, the movie was just terrible. I found myself getting bored part way through and struggled to watch it to the end.

Jennifer Coolidge is the stand-out in this misfiring comedy that is too frenetic to be funny.

I had a few laughs but most of the jokes don't land and it's too silly for my taste. Lopez and Duhamel have great chemistry but i'm not sold on their acting. Jennifer Coolidge was a joy to watch and she steals the show, even though it feels like she's always playing the same character in every one of her roles. The story dragged a lot and felt repetitive in some parts. Oh and Jennifer Lopez doesn't age.

If you’ve watched more than one action romance you’ve already seen this one. It’s the most basic plot without any surprises. It has to be said that J.Lo is in fantastic shape but unfortunately that can't cover up her (at best) mediocre acting skills. You've heard and seen all them laughs before so don't b disappointed if it doesn't make you laugh out loud. Recommended only for hardcore J.Lo fans.

Fun movie - definitely worth a watch when you want to forget about everything for an hour and half. I don't buy the two main characters as a couple; but it didn't matter... Story was still funny enough to carry the movie.

if you are a person who carry "situation comedy" in your body and can laugh about it - that will be quite nicely entertained.
of course, some scenes are exaggerated and overall not the "non-plus-ultra", but it should not be... but entertain and THAT makes it good!
JLo is pretty sexy regarding her age - compliments! ...and acting she delivers authentically!
Jennifer Coolidge is really overrated here and didn't steal JLo's show at all... she's just comically good as always in all her slapstick movies... that's all.
I think Callie Hernandez plays well, with funny facial expressions and Lenny Kravitz is c()()L – I like the plot-twist :-)

Silly but fun to watch. A little love and violence and silly characters.

Don't waste your money just because you want to see JLo. Lame plot, lame acting.... simply just a waste of time.

The warning signs should have been there. While I like JLo's personality very much and Jennifer Coolidge has grown on me after season 2 of White Lotus, each of them make catastrophically bad choices when it comes to movies. I don't think either of them has made a movie since working with Clooney and Christopher Guest, respectively. Want more signs? A music bed running underneath ordinary dialog is a sure sign that the director knows that the dialog is garbage.

Despite having a decent cast this thing is a stinker. The two leads could not have less chemistry together. The mild attempts at humor are so weak that movie feels like a drama. The plot is completely paint-by-numbers and done much better in so many places that it might be easier to count the movies where it was done worse. I can only speak to the first third of the movie as that was as much as I could stomach.

Honestly Armie Hammer didn’t miss much not being in this movie :joy:

Probably my least favorite J Lo marriage movie, but it got a 7/10 because Jennifer Coolidge. “He didn’t RSVP!” - best line in the movie. It was dumb but not the absolute worst. Not a rewatch, but I don’t necessarily regret the last 100 minutes.

Oh what can I say... Just cheesey. Not original. If you are bored then you can watch. Otherwise it is not worth it.

Don't bother. Movie lacks comedy, story, and above all acting. If you want to watch this just for Jennifer Lopez then first 30 mins will be sufficient.

Average rom-com. Not one of J-Lo's best.

You know for the type of movie it is..It was pretty fun to watch..And JLO is just being..JLO I guess..If you have seen any JLO movies it’s pretty much the same acting..

Too silly, ever for what it is. My cat could shit a better script with better dialogues. And the acting, mediocre for Jennifer, absolutely dismal from Lenny (go back to making music!)

Jennifer Coolidge is 10/10, if the movie is worth watching at all, it's for her. Because the rest is kinda cookie cutter. A touch more over the top with the gore-y bits than one would expect from a flick like this, I guess, but that's it.

I made a modest wish yesterday before this released that it'd at least be better than The Lost City (which did not work for me) but it turned out to be so fun and cute! And fast-paced, which we LOVE.

For the casual viewer this is not recommended. On the other hand, only J-Lo Super fans should watch this movie. It’s not very good.
Do yourself a favor and do Not watch this film!
