Shaitaan 2024

Only scene that gave me fear and kept me in edge of the seat in this thriller movie is the sister going to kill brother scene. Rest of the movie I don’t think any of the scenes were actually engaging. Only Madhavan’s acting was good. These kind of black magics are not believable in this generation that’s my POV.

Shaitaan

Madhavan is just brilliant in this movie!!

"Shaitaan" emerges as a cinematic experience that deftly blends the elements of suspense and supernatural. Ajay Devgan delivers a compelling performance as the hero, anchoring the film with his characteristic intensity. However, it is Madhavan's portrayal of th villain that truly elevates the narrative. His nuanced and powerful depiction of the antagonist adds a layer of depth to the film, making "Shaitaan" a memorable watch. The movie's brilliance lies not just in the performances but also in its ability to maintain a grilling storyline that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats. Madhavan's acting prowess is a standout, showcasing his versatility and command over his craft.

Overall, "Shaitaan" is a well-executed thriller that showcases the talents of its leading actors and leaves a lasting impression.

The story revolves around a family who lets this stranger into their farmhouse, and things get super creepy when he starts controlling their daughter. It's like every command he gives, she just can't say no.

The atmosphere is the real winner here. They've done an amazing job without any CGI, and it all hinges on the antagonist's mind games. It's not your typical horror movie with cheap jump scares; it's more about that unsettling feeling that stays with you.

Now, the performances are top-notch. R. Madhavan as the sinister stranger is just outstanding, and Ajay Devgn nails it as the desperate father.

The cinematography is dope, really adds to the dread, and the music by Amit Trivedi? Spot on. But yeah, the narrative does stumble at times, and the whole supernatural vs. science debate feels a bit cliché.

Overall, it's a decent watch if you're into psychological thrillers with a dash of horror. Just don't expect too many surprises.

Great movie, no doubt. The story is a good one time watch. Some scenes are stretched too long, but it's not too boring. The music is amazing, and the acting skills of R. Madhavan sir is next to none, and that's the only reason this gets 2 extra Stars from me.
Overall, it's a good one time watch. Not at all Horror.
