Sadly, the comedic moments are sparse and at their best, they are a chuckle. I was expecting laugh out loud, but even as we filed out of the cinema, not a single person was overly entertained. I rated it a 6 because the casting was great and I adore James Acaster.
I thoroughly enjoyed this show. Silly plot, but great cast characters.
Watched this after 'The Messenger' (1999), which was funny enough for Nicolas' portrayal, but no, this movie had to add some more humour. The elongated scenes took me out more than anything. It just never stops. The soundtrack was like gunpowder itself. Unfortunately, everything starts to droop after the first 30 mins or so. The comedy got repataive, and the story got lost. I get it's a comedy, but it moved a little too fast, even with the lengthy cuts. I didn't really understand any characters, but the casting was great. Mediocrely good comedy? You'll have fun if you expect it, I guess.
Felt more like a TV series recut into a movie runtime. This should've been a TV short.

Didn't like it or hate it really, feels like a Horrible Histories spin-off. I hate to say it but the two kings made me giggle sorry.
