This movie was absolutely unnecessary. The original was top tier Scooby Doo. This was a mockery.

There’s a lot of questionable children movies. Like “for what purpose was this created” type of stuff. This is one of those movies. And I never thought I would say that about a Scooby-Doo movie (a soft spot for me / clearly biased). But this takes what is arguably the best animated Scooby which is Zombie Island and negates what happened there. Will a kid still like this? Sure. It’s still Scooby. But as an adult that loved the original, this was a disappointment for me.

Yea...shud not have been made. The whole premise that started with the 1st Zombie Island that the monsters were real was a great idea. This one just obliterates it...worth a skip.

Yes, the movie is bad if you are comparing it with first one. The mystery of first movie was more mysterious and interesting. In this sequel it was not that surprising and there was too many hints to know what is going on. But I have seen a lot of worse Scooby movies and this one is not that bad.

Entertaining but disappointing that movies like this and 13 Ghosts are just to prove Velma right. That ghosts don’t exist. To debunk movies and shows where the monsters were supposed to be real.

I feel like this movie was absolutely unnecessary and as though it fits more into the newer generation of Scooby Doo. Scooby Doo Zombie Island was one of the top tier Scooby Doo movies and I feel like this "sequel" just made a mockery of it. Should have never made it.

Like the 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo movie. Return to Zombie Island, feels like it was only made to tie up loose ends.
They both were about Velma not believing there really were supernatural happenings. In the 13 Ghosts show or the previous Zombie Island movie. 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo finally getting an ending after 30 years was more necessary though. I don’t feel like they really had to go back to Zombie island. To ruin the first movie that actually had them encounter real monsters. With Velma now trying to prove they weren’t real monsters.
